K Bella Hair Studio & Spa in Brighton offers a limited number of cosmetology apprenticeships designed for motivated individuals who want to build a strong foundation before working behind the chair. Our apprenticeship program focuses on real-world salon experience, professional growth, and long-term success — not just completing required hours.

We currently offer apprenticeships under two master stylists, Kristan and Siobhan. These opportunities are limited and fill quickly.

Kristan has already committed to her next three apprentices. Siobhan will be offering an apprenticeship beginning July 27, 2026. If you’re interested, we encourage you to apply early to join the waiting list and learn more about future availability.

K Bella is a busy, established salon that has served the Brighton community since 2009. We have expanded multiple times and continue to grow, earning Best of Livingston County recognition across multiple categories year after year.

As an apprentice, you’ll work side by side with experienced stylists and technicians while learning how a successful salon truly operates. This program is ideal for individuals who want more than technical skills — it’s designed to prepare you for a confident, successful career behind the chair.

You’ll gain hands-on experience assisting with color services, shampooing, client preparation, and maintaining a professional salon environment. Apprentices also learn inventory management, product knowledge, and the daily operations that contribute to a smooth, high-performing salon.

Who This Apprenticeship Is For

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate. A willingness to learn, strong work ethic, and professional attitude are essential. Apprentices are expected to become knowledgeable in the product lines carried in the salon and to actively participate in day-to-day salon operations.

This program is best suited for individuals who are serious about their career in cosmetology and want to graduate fully prepared to work behind the chair with confidence.
